Minutes after Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was captured hiding in a boat in Watertown, Mass., two Boston police bomb technicians climbed inside searching for any explosive devices and instead stumbled upon three sections of writing he left on the wall of the hull.

Pictures of those writing sections were shown to the jury in his capital murder trial in the Boston Marathon bombings here Tuesday. While some portions have been made public, for the first time they were released in their entirety. In his handwriting, they illustrate, prosecutors said, Tsarnaev's admiration of his older brother and his justification for killing "innocent people."

The writings appear smeared in long streaks of red blood and punctured by bullet holes in the boat, often making them difficult to read.

The bullet holes were made by police, fearing Tsarnaev was armed inside the boat, which was resting on land in a backyard. No firearms or weapons were found inside after he surrendered and climbed out.

Officer Todd Brown, a Boston bomb technician for 24 years, said he and another technician crawled inside the craft after Tsarnaev was captured.

"I was to clear the boat," Brown told the jury. "I entered the boat and started to sweep the boat for any booby traps or explosives, to look for and identify anything."

He found no explosives but noticed the writings in pencil on the walls of the right side of the hull and quickly notified police and FBI agents at the scene.

On computer screens, the three writing sections were shown to the jury and prosecutors presented written transcripts.

"I'm jealous of my brother who ha..ceived the rewards of janntul Firdaus (inshallah)…before me," Tsarnaev said in one message.

He was referring to his older brother, Tamerlan Tsarnaev, killed in a police shootout in Watertown the night before.

"I don't mourn him because his soul is very much alive. God has a plan for each person. Mine was to hide in this boat and shed some light on our actions. I ask Allah to make me a shahied (IA) to allow me to return to him and be among all the religious people in the highest levels of heaven.

"He who Allah guides, no one can misguide. A…bar."

In another message, Tsarnaev sought to justify the bombings, that killed three people and injured more than 260 others.

"…has awoked the mujahidin…Know you are fighting men who look into the barrel of your gun and see heaven, now how can you compete with that. We are promised victory and we will surely get it. Now I don't like killing innocent people it is forbidden in Islam but due to said…it is allowed. All credit goes…"

In a third message Tsarnaev wrote that "the U.S. Government is killing our innocent civilians but most of you already know that. As a Muslim…I can't stand to see such evil go unpunished. We Muslims are one body, you hurt one you hurt us all, well at least that's how Mohammad wanted it to be..."
