A man gets out of a shower to find "I know what you did" written in steam on his mirror. At the office, a phone call bears the same message. His check comes at a restaurant with the eery phrase written there, too.
It's all part of the latest ad in the city's "What Happens Here, Stays Here" campaign. It debuted on Feb. 9 with a nod to horror films.
The commercial ends when the lead character meets his stalker in the back of his sedan. He asks, "Is this about Vegas?"
Dubbed "The Secret," this ad is the third and final installment of the campaign.
Earlier versions include "Watercooler," which mocks chatter around the water cooler as an actor takes out his rage on a bubbler and notes to his colleagues that, "We must be out of water," instead of explaining what really happened.
"Transformation" shows another actor changing in appearance as he moves from a pool party to a club scene to a show to a nightclub. The scenes are repeated in reverse with an actress instead. The campaign suggests you can be anyone in Las Vegas. Homegrown band Imagine Dragons provides the music for that ad.
